Made to Be Used. Meant to Be Cared For.

A little regular care will help preserve the appearance and finish of your Crafts Expressions product.

As our collection includes natural wood, handcrafted finishes, MDF, resin, glass, printed surfaces and metal components, always refer to the individual product page for any product-specific instructions.

Everyday Cleaning

• Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
• For light marks, wipe gently with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
• Do not use abrasive scrubbers, harsh chemicals, bleach, alcohol-based cleaners or furniture polish unless specifically recommended.
• Avoid spraying cleaning products directly onto the product.

Protect It from Water

• Do not soak wooden or MDF products in water.
• Do not wash them under running water or place them in a dishwasher.
• Wipe spills immediately and allow the surface to dry completely.
• Store the product in a clean and dry place.

Protect It from Heat and Sunlight

• Keep away from open flames and extreme heat.
• Do not place hot utensils directly on the surface.
• Use a coaster, mat or trivet wherever required.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as it may affect the colour and finish over time.

Frames and Glass

• Lift and move frames carefully; do not drag them across a surface.
• Clean glass with a soft cloth.
• Apply glass cleaner to the cloth rather than spraying it directly onto the frame.
• Keep moisture away from the photograph, backing board and frame edges.
• Check wall hooks, stands and fittings periodically.

Printed, Painted and Foiled Surfaces

• Clean gently without rubbing or scraping.
• Avoid adhesive tape, sharp objects and abrasive cleaners.
• Do not leave wet or hot objects directly on the decorated surface.
• Metallic, painted and printed finishes may gradually develop small signs of use, especially when handled frequently.

Trays and Serveware

All products listed under our Serveware collection are food-safe and suitable for serving food. A little regular care will help protect their appearance and finish.

• Use each product only for the purpose described on its product page.
• Clean the product before and after use.
• Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
• Do not soak serveware, kitchenware or table coasters in water.
• Do not place them in a dishwasher.
• Do not cut food directly on trays or other decorative and finished surfaces.
• Do not place extremely hot utensils directly on the product.
• Lift trays using both hands and avoid overloading them.

Decorative trays and other products not listed under Serveware should not be used for direct food contact unless specifically stated on the product page. Use suitable bowls, plates, liners or napkins when serving food on them.

Storage

• Store in a dry, well-ventilated space.
• Avoid damp cupboards and areas with excessive humidity.
• Do not stack heavy or sharp objects over finished surfaces.
• Wrap delicate pieces in soft, non-abrasive material when storing them for an extended period.

Natural Changes Over Time

Natural wood and handcrafted finishes may change subtly with age, light and use. These gentle changes are part of the material’s evolving character. With thoughtful handling and regular care, your Crafts Expressions piece can remain part of your home for years to come.
